<p>Naming the building after a eighteenth century impressionist is a perfect fit for a building which was a  modern contemporary impression of eighteenth century French architecture by the architect and developer <a title="Randall Davis The Architect And Developer" href="http://www.randalldavis.com/" target="_blank">Randall Davis</a>, who got his start and fame with office and warehouse conversions such as the Hogg Palace Lofts and the historic <a href="http://houstonhomesforsale.org/st-germain-lofts-houston/">St. Germain Lofts</a>.</p>
<p>Construction on the Renoir Lofts finished and units began selling during early 2000 with the building selling out all 82 units in late 2003.
