The St. Germain Lofts is a historic property and was originally designed by Seymour Burrell in 1913 while he was working as a staff architect for S.H. Kress & Co five-and-dime. The building was the anchor for Houston’s primary retail district. After sitting vacant from 1983 until the mid 1990s, CLB Partners a real estate developer, along with Randall Davis , a prestigious architect and developer of such properties as the Rice Lofts and Gotham Lofts, rejuvenated the historic St Germain Lofts to exhibit an air of Italian Renaissance coupled with an urban lifestyle.
